Specialists
Residential electrical is the whole business. We do not do plumbing, we do not do HVAC, we do not do solar PV. What we do, we do every day.
About KC Smart Services
We are residential electrical specialists. That is the whole business — done well. Small repairs to complete installations, from a single outlet to a whole-home smart integration.
Why homeowners choose us
Every one of these is a decision we make on every job. None of them is a slogan.
Residential electrical is the whole business. We do not do plumbing, we do not do HVAC, we do not do solar PV. What we do, we do every day.
The install experience across every major smart-home ecosystem — and the professional wiring behind whatever device you buy.
We show up when we said, we finish what we started, and we return calls the same or next business day.
Panel bonding, box fill, torque, GFCI/AFCI protection, the current NEC. The person living in the house is the one who pays if we cut a corner.
Drop cloths day one. Cable runs stapled straight. Panels labelled. Junction boxes tidy. The finished wall does not tell on the electrician.
No two homes ask for the same install. We scope to yours — the room, the household, the way you actually live.
A written scope before we start. A walkthrough when we finish. If the job changes mid-way, you hear it before we cut the next wire.
A single failed outlet. A whole-home rewire. A phase-one smart-home install. We size the crew and the plan to the job in front of us.
How we work on your home
Clear communication start to finish. That phrase is easy to say and harder to live up to — we live up to it by writing things down at each step so nobody has to remember what was agreed.
Our vehicle and our uniform
The van is stocked to the way the trade actually runs — the connectors, the wire, the boxes, the meters, the drop cloths, the labels — so an unexpected finding in your ceiling does not become a stop-and-go-to-the-supply-house event. The uniform is clean, the boots come off or the covers go on at the door, and the drop cloths are down before we open a tool bag.
Licensing and insurance
We provide current license and insurance information on request — send us a note and we return the documentation by email to any prospective customer. Ask before you book; any contractor worth hiring will send it without hesitating.
